Sang Joon Lee for this printer will tell you when you're out of toner and the need for new ones. And when you're with one of the color, this printer does not print anything until you replace the toner. Here is how to compensate these problems, and you decide when supplies need to be changed ... and not the printer. 1st Remove tray and put a piece of black electrical tape on the sensors each toner color. This will make the impression of thinking that has full toner. 2nd If you already see the "Change Toner" message, simply reset it by opening the front door and press CLEAR and reprinted together. Scroll up and down to restore the desired tones. 3rd If you think you have more life juice left in the drum and laser parts, just restore it and forget it! Open the lid and hold the START button and press the UP (+) button. Scroll through the menu and restore! After the "replace toner" message which I counter, and I've written more than 2000 pages in a similar pattern, but remember! You will begin to see some "sprinkles of nuts" on your pages, because road use. 88 of 89 people found the following review helpful. Best Buy for the Money by M. packages I investigated and found that the cartridges for this machine is much cheaper than those for HP and the notes included with the printer has a page yield color on the 1500 and 2500 B & W HP came up with tones that had only 750 pages in when you had about $ 140 for toner cartridges to pay for replacement when they use it, you can buy toner cartridges for right around $ 70, which is half the price with more page yield . So far I have printed 450 pages cartridge and the amount is not reduced and the print quality is excellent! 59 of 59 people found the following review helpful. Questions brother envelope that helped! Double Up For I bought the Brother HL-4040CDN on June 9, after reading all the reviews I could find some people have reported a problem printing envelopes, but I thought it was just a random problem, but discovered fast that I shook each envelope was folded and wrinkled. I tried all the printers Properties option - type of envelope, paper, card stock, so I studied all the Brother website to help diagnose problems with the printer paper, envelopes and problems, and tried everything. Nothing helped. So I went to the Solution Center, FAQs: "lines and wrinkles envelopes" I found one thing that really helped. Very little mentioned as the last option: Open the printer rear door and down the envelope levers, these are two levers next to the gray green lever on the fuser. Make sure you leave the levers down to only the gray printing envelopes. When you return envelope printing gray lever to its original position or position for use with plain paper is very uncomfortable to open the back door and move the gray levers every time I have to print an envelope, I discovered that the output of the gray levers down, has not caused a problem when printing on paper. Hope this helps someone. Certainly helped me, and I would have saved much time and envelopes. See all 63 customer reviews ....
