Here are some detailed comments. 1st The paper feeder is well designed - the situation is never again walk through the pages at once that happens (in the HP 3050, it happens a lot). 2nd Canon has a well designed user interface - the functions are easy to follow and control, including printing / scanning / copying. 3rd The automatic two-sided printing is excellent and makes sure the printer is worth what you paid. But when you use the automatic duplexing - printing speed is less than one third (instead of half) because the mechanical parts need a lot of time to turn the paper. 4th As some of you are worried, the latest firmware (02/09/2009) smooths the scan function on a Mac - simply press the Scan button.
