Value, but a small problem genews Pro: Quick and easy installation, very fast, very good print quality for text, toner cartridges, high capacity (compatible cartridges are reasonably priced). Cons: Even the brother added a "straight-through paper path," apparently in order to address the criticisms of an earlier model of the envelopes and thicker media were wrinkled or bent a bit, not straight paper path to solve the problem. The creaking of the envelopes is that machines roll feed intake on too hard, which means that the envelope wave as it passes, and the last part of the envelope is inevitably cracked. Conclusion: This is a great value for a user who does not need to print envelopes with this printer uncrinkled. The HD-5340D continues this trend with high-speed printing, duplexing and an excellent graphic black / white for high volume home or small business use. While these printers are available at a special price, the "bang-for-the-money" is very high. You may be able to find high-quality printing and a higher speed, but the production work in general, this printer is a workhorse and will be very hard to beat. Well, Solid Black and White Laser Printer Duplex Great Sage Inc. have about a thousand pages by now and this team has done well. If you need a simple black and white printer that automatically printson both sides of the paper is a good deal. Print single-sided on the very fast and reasonably fast even on double-sided printing sharpness is good, and documents look great. The software interface is simple to use, but offers a lot of features. No disruptive software such as HP, which is a real pleasure. This is the second Brother printer in my office and I like them both. 2010 01 05 update: Still going strong! Every time I look at this printer, is full of joy that no matter how well he does.
